About the RoleWe are looking for a motivated and responsible Sales & Collection Executive to join our electrical distribution business. The person will be responsible for developing sales with retailers, electrical shops, contractors, electricians and other customers, while also ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments.

The ideal candidate should have good communication skills, strong market knowledge, and the ability to build long-term relationships with customers.

• Key ResponsibilitiesSales ResponsibilitiesVisit electrical shops, retailers, contractors, electricians and other customers regularly.
• Generate new customers and develop existing customer relationships.
• Promote and sell products such as LED bulbs, panel lights, tube lights, downlights, switches, and other electrical accessories.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Take customer orders and coordinate with the office/warehouse for timely delivery.
• Explain product features, pricing, offers and schemes to customers.
• Monitor competitor products, pricing and market activities.
• Maintain regular follow-up with customers for repeat orders.
• Expand the company's distribution and market presence in the assigned territory.
• Collection ResponsibilitiesFollow up with customers for pending/outstanding payments.
• Maintain a proper schedule of customer credit and payment due dates.
• Visit customers for payment collection whenever required.
• Ensure collections are made within the approved credit period.
• Report overdue accounts and payment issues to management.
• Coordinate with the accounts department regarding outstanding balances.
• Avoid unnecessary credit sales and follow company credit policies.
• Reporting & AdministrationMaintain daily visit and sales reports.
• Submit regular collection and outstanding reports.
• Maintain accurate customer information and order details.
• Provide feedback to management regarding market demand and customer requirements.
• Coordinate with sales, accounts, warehouse and delivery teams.
• RequirementsMinimum 0–3 years of experience in sales, distribution or electrical products preferred.
• Experience in the electrical, lighting, hardware or FMCG distribution market will be an advantage.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Comfortable with field sales and customer visits.
• Strong follow-up and payment collection skills.
• Basic knowledge of smartphones, WhatsApp and Excel.
• Ability to achieve sales and collection targets.
• Honest, disciplined and responsible attitude.
• Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred.
