Scope of Work for Civil Site Engineer

1. Site Supervision and Execution

• Monitor and supervise daily construction activities at the site to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and site workers for smooth workflow.
• Ensure proper layout, leveling, and surveying at the site.

2. Quality Control

• Check quality of materials and workmanship as per IS standards and approved specifications.
• Implement quality control procedures to ensure structural and finishing integrity.
• Maintain documentation of quality assurance reports and test results.

3. Planning and Coordination

• Coordinate with structural consultants, architects, MEP engineers, and vendors.
• Assist in scheduling and planning daily/weekly work progress.
• Monitor project timelines and escalate delays or deviations from schedule.

4. Quantity Estimation and Measurement

• Take accurate measurements from site for billing, BOQ verification, and quantity estimation.
• Prepare and certify contractor and vendor bills as per site progress.

5. Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain daily work progress reports (DPRs).
• Document material consumption, manpower deployment, and inspection records.
• Maintain site records like drawing sets, checklists, and logbooks.

6. Safety and Compliance

• Ensure that safety norms and practices are followed on site.
• Conduct toolbox talks and ensure PPE usage.
• Comply with local building codes, RERA guidelines, and labor regulations.

7. Material Management

• Track receipt, storage, and utilization of construction materials.
• Coordinate timely procurement and inventory of required materials.

8. Technical Support

• Resolve technical issues and site constraints by coordinating with consultants.
• Interpret construction drawings and resolve discrepancies with actual site conditions.
