Job OverviewWe are looking for a skilled and responsible Tool & Die Maker to join our team in Vasai. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in tool and die making, with practical knowledge of tool preparation, maintenance, fitting, and related machining activities.
Candidates who are already residing within 10 km of Vasai will be highly preferred.
- Key ResponsibilitiesManufacture, assemble, modify, and maintain tools, dies, molds, and fixtures.
- Read and understand engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Perform fitting, grinding, drilling, cutting, and other tool-making operations.
- Inspect tools and dies to ensure accuracy and required dimensions.
- Identify and repair damaged or worn-out tools and dies.
- Perform regular maintenance of tools, dies, and fixtures.
- Use measuring instruments to check dimensions and tolerances.
- Coordinate with the production team to resolve tooling-related issues.
- Maintain proper quality and safety standards during all operations.
- Follow work instructions and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- RequirementsMinimum 1 year of relevant experience as a Tool & Die Maker or similar role.
- ITI or Diploma qualification is mandatory.
- Practical knowledge of tool and die making, fitting, and maintenance.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of basic measuring instruments and machining tools.
- Good technical and problem-solving skills.
- Candidates should be hardworking, punctual, and responsible.
- Candidates residing within 10 km of Vasai are preferred.
