JOB OPENING – SERVICE & MEASUREMENT TECHNICIAN / JUNIOR CARPENTER

Number of Positions: 4

Experience Required: 1–2 Years (Freshers with relevant skills may also be considered)

Qualification: ITI / 10th Pass / Plus Two

Vehicle: Two-wheeler preferred / Required for field travel

Job Location: Field-based – Travel Required

Job RoleWe are looking for energetic and responsible Service & Measurement Technicians / Junior Carpenters to handle basic interior service works, site measurements, and customer support activities.

The candidate should have basic knowledge of modular furniture, carpentry hardware, and interior installation work.

• Key Responsibilities1. Service & Repair WorkAttend customer service calls at residential and commercial project sites.
• Fix and adjust hinges, channels, runners, handles, locks, and other furniture hardware.
• Carry out basic carpentry and modular furniture repair works.
• Identify issues in wardrobes, kitchens, cabinets, and other interior furniture.
• Coordinate with the service team for spare parts and materials required for repairs.
• Complete assigned service calls within the committed timeline.

2. Technical MeasurementsVisit customer sites and take accurate measurements for:

• Modular Kitchens
• Wardrobes
• TV Units
• Storage Units
• Other Interior Furniture

Additional responsibilities include:

• Measuring wall dimensions, height, width, depth, and site conditions.
• Identifying electrical points, plumbing points, beams, columns, and other site limitations.
• Submitting accurate measurement details to the Design and Production Team.
• 3. Customer CoordinationInteract politely and professionally with customers.
• Understand customer complaints and provide basic technical support.
• Explain the service work being carried out whenever required.
• Ensure customer concerns are properly recorded and reported.
• 4. Reporting & DocumentationUpdate daily service visits and work completion status.
• Take before-and-after photographs of service work when required.
• Submit measurement reports accurately.
• Report pending issues, material requirements, and customer concerns to the Reporting Manager.
• Maintain proper records of completed and pending service calls.
• Candidate Requirements1–2 years of experience in carpentry, modular furniture installation, interior service, or similar work.
• Freshers with relevant practical skills may also be considered.
• Basic understanding of modular furniture and furniture hardware.
• Knowledge of hinges, telescopic channels, tandem runners, handles, locks, and other fittings.
• Ability to take accurate site measurements.
• Ability to identify basic site and furniture-related issues.
• Willingness to travel regularly for customer service visits and site measurements.
• Own two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
• Responsible, punctual, and willing to learn.

QualificationAny of the following qualifications are acceptable:

• ITI
• 10th Pass
• Plus Two / Higher Secondary
