Job Description
- Collect blood and other biological samples from patients accurately and safely.
- Follow proper phlebotomy procedures and order of draw.
- Ensure correct sample labeling, handling, storage, and transportation.
- Maintain hygiene, infection control, and patient safety standards.
- Handle patients professionally and ensure a smooth sample collection experience.
- Maintain collection records and follow laboratory SOPs.
- Ensure proper usage of vacutainers, needles, and other collection equipment.
- Coordinate with laboratory staff to ensure timely sample processing.
