Junior Mentor – Lead Generation & Student Engagement

Job Overview : We are seeking a proactive, organised, and target-driven Junior Mentor to support student acquisition and admission-related activities at our junior college. The role focuses on managing the student database, conducting outbound calls, generating leads, scheduling demo sessions, ensuring student attendance, and driving prospective student visits to the college.

Key Responsibilities

1. Database Management & Outbound Calling

• Contact the complete student database assigned by management through systematic outbound calling.
• Maintain consistent follow-ups with prospective students and parents.
• Update call outcomes, lead status, and follow-up schedules accurately.

2. Lead Generation & Appointment Booking

• Generate additional leads through references, local outreach, and other assigned initiatives.
• Identify interested prospects and convert them into scheduled college visits and demo appointments.
• Encourage students and parents to visit the college for demo sessions and further counselling.

3. Demo Scheduling & Attendance

• Coordinate demo appointments and maintain an organised schedule.
• Follow up with students and parents before scheduled sessions to maximise attendance.
• Contact students who miss their appointments and arrange rescheduled visits.

4. Prospect Follow-up & Team Coordination

• Maintain regular communication with interested students and parents.
• Coordinate with the academic counselling and admissions teams to ensure smooth handovers.
• Support the admission process through timely follow-ups and accurate lead tracking.

5. Performance & Target Achievement

• Achieve assigned daily and monthly targets for outbound calls, lead generation, appointments booked, demo attendance, and student visits.
• Maintain daily activity reports and provide regular updates to management.
• Demonstrate consistency, accountability, and a results-oriented approach.
• Required SkillsStrong verbal communication and telephone etiquette.
• Effective follow-up, persuasion, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage a high volume of calls and multiple leads.
• Basic computer skills, data entry, and reporting abilities.
