Job Description
About the Role
We are looking for a Travel Executive who will be responsible for generating and developing international travel leads and converting them into clients.
The candidate will focus on identifying potential customers from international markets, reaching out to prospects, understanding their travel requirements, and converting inquiries into bookings.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate international travel leads through online platforms, social media, LinkedIn, databases, referrals, and other channels.
- Identify potential customers interested in international holidays, tours, business travel, honeymoon packages, group tours, etc.
- Conduct outbound calls, WhatsApp conversations, emails, and online communication with international prospects.
- Understand customer requirements, travel preferences, budget, destination, and itinerary.
- Follow up consistently with leads and maintain a proper lead pipeline.
- Coordinate with the internal travel team to prepare suitable international travel packages and quotations.
- Convert qualified leads into confirmed bookings and achieve monthly sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with international customers.
- Research international travel markets, destinations, customer trends, and competitors.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, quotations, and conversions.
- Work towards achieving lead generation, conversion, and revenue targets.
Requirements
- Good English communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong convincing and sales skills.
- Interest or experience in the international travel industry.
- Ability to generate leads independently using online platforms.
- Good follow-up and negotiation skills.
- Basic knowledge of social media, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, email, and online research.
- Comfortable communicating with international clients.
- Target-oriented, confident, and self-motivated.
- Previous experience in travel sales, international sales, lead generation, or B2B/B2C sales will be an advantage.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Number of qualified international leads generated.
- Daily/weekly follow-ups completed.
- Number of quotations shared.
- Lead-to-client conversion rate.
- Monthly booking/revenue targets.
- Customer retention and repeat business.
Salary & Working Hours
Salary: ₹9,000 – ₹12,000/month
Shift: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Additional: Performance-based incentives can be provided based on lead conversion and sales performance.
