Job ObjectiveWe are looking for a highly skilled, experienced and responsible Senior Technical Engineer to independently handle installation, configuration, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and technical support of ELV systems.

The candidate should possess strong hands-on technical knowledge and be capable of resolving complex technical problems, guiding junior technicians and ensuring high-quality project execution.

Key Responsibilities

A. IP CCTV & Surveillance Systems

• Installation, configuration and commissioning of IP cameras, NVRs, servers and Video Management Systems (VMS).
• Configuration of camera networks, IP addressing, VLANs, PoE switches and storage.
• Troubleshooting connectivity, recording, playback, storage and video quality issues.
• Integration of CCTV systems with networking and other security solutions.
• Experience with enterprise surveillance solutions and multiple OEM platforms.

B. Fire Alarm & Life Safety Systems

• Installation, programming, testing and commissioning of conventional and addressable fire alarm systems.
• Configuration of fire alarm control panels, detectors, modules and notification devices.
• Troubleshooting loop faults, communication errors and system failures.
• Understanding of cause-and-effect programming, interfaces and commissioning procedures.
• Knowledge of applicable fire safety standards and manufacturer requirements.

C. Networking & Wi-Fi

• Configuration and troubleshooting of managed switches, routers, wireless access points and controllers.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, subnetting, VLANs, routing, PoE and network troubleshooting.
• Installation and commissioning of structured cabling and fiber optic networks.
• Testing and troubleshooting network connectivity and performance.
• Experience with enterprise networking and Wi-Fi solutions.

D. Audio-Visual & Public Address Systems

• Installation, configuration and commissioning of conference room AV solutions.
• Troubleshooting displays, projectors, video conferencing systems and audio equipment.
• Installation and testing of public address systems, amplifiers, speakers and microphones.
• Understanding of AV connectivity, signal distribution and system integration.

E. Project Execution & Commissioning

• Independently execute assigned ELV installation and commissioning activities.
• Read and understand technical drawings, BOQs, schematics and equipment specifications.
• Conduct site surveys and identify technical requirements.
• Guide technicians during installation, termination, configuration and testing.
• Ensure compliance with installation standards, quality requirements and site safety procedures.
• Prepare testing, commissioning and handover documentation.

F. Technical Troubleshooting & Service

• Independently diagnose and resolve complex technical complaints.
• Attend critical customer breakdowns and provide effective solutions.
• Identify root causes of recurring failures and recommend permanent corrective actions.
• Support preventive maintenance and AMC activities.
• Coordinate with OEM technical support teams when required.

G. Team Guidance & Technical Accountability

• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
• Verify installation quality and commissioning results.
• Support the Operations Manager in technical planning.
• Maintain proper technical documentation and service reports.
• Share technical knowledge and train team members.
• Take ownership of assigned technical issues until resolution.

Required QualificationsDiploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunications, Computer Science or related discipline.

• 5–10 years of hands-on experience in ELV Systems Integration.
• Strong practical experience in IP CCTV, Fire Alarm and Networking.
• Working knowledge of AV, Public Address and Access Control systems.
• Experience in troubleshooting, configuration and commissioning.
• Ability to work independently at customer sites.
• Experience in industrial, government, PSU or power plant projects preferred.
