Transport Supervisor / Fleet Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and track all company Vans, FTL and commercial vehicles, including maintenance, servicing, breakdowns and daily operations.
• Develop and manage transport vendors/fleet owners from the market, negotiate rates and close vehicle requirements.
• Arrange Adhoc, monthly and emergency replacement vehicles from the market whenever required.
• Handle new customer requirements from vehicle sourcing → negotiation → deployment → successful closure.
• Manage drivers, including driver hiring, replacement, attendance, salary, performance and documentation.
• Handle vehicle RC, insurance, permits, fitness, road tax, RTO work, challans and renewals.
• Coordinate with customers, vendors, drivers and internal teams to ensure timely vehicle placement and smooth operations.
• Maintain a reliable network/database of Vans, FTL vehicles, transporters and drivers.
• Be comfortable with field visits for vendor development, vehicle sourcing, driver hiring and RTO/transport-related work.
• Take complete ownership of transport requirements and resolve operational issues independently.
