Core Responsibilities & Operations Management
Oversee and manage all daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, distribution, picking, packing, and shipping of products.Develop, implement, and enforce operational policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure efficient workflow and compliance.
Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization to maximize efficiency and product flow.
Coordinate logistics with transportation carriers, suppliers, and internal departments (e.g., Sales, Procurement) to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Manage and oversee the maintenance and proper use of all warehouse equipment and facilities.II. Inventory Management & ControlImplement and manage effective inventory control systems to maintain high levels of accuracy.
Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile them with data in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
Minimize inventory discrepancies, damage, and loss.
Analyze stock levels and forecast requirements to prevent shortages or overstocking.
Team Leadership & DevelopmentLead, mentor, and motivate the warehouse team to achieve performance targets and high-quality service.
Responsible for recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training new warehouse employees.
Develop staffing schedules and allocate resources effectively to meet operational demands.
Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching, and address personnel issues.
Implement and monitor security measures to safeguard warehouse contents and personnel.
Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure the warehouse meets safety, quality, and hygiene standards.
Performance & Process ImprovementTrack, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as productivity, inventory accuracy, and shipping error rates.
