Job Title: Outlet Manager
Department: Food and Beverage
Reports To: Area Manager
Job Summary:
The Kitchen Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the operations of the cloud kitchen with multiple brands. You play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the kitchen, maintaining food quality and safety standards, and managing a team of kitchen staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management:
Provide strong leadership and guidance to the kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and other kitchen personnel.
Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively, ensuring proper distribution of workload among the team members.
Train new kitchen staff members, monitor their performance, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and motivation among the kitchen staff.
Resolve conflicts or issues that may arise within the kitchen team in a fair and professional manner.

Menu Planning and Food Preparation:
Ensure that food preparation and cooking techniques adhere to the established recipes and quality standards.
Monitor portion control and presentation of dishes, maintaining consistency in taste, appearance, and quality.
Manage inventory and supplies, including ordering ingredients, tracking stock levels, and minimizing waste.

Food Safety and Hygiene:
Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
Monitor and enforce proper food handling and storage practices to prevent contamination and foodborne illnesses.
Conduct regular inspections of the kitchen area, equipment, and utensils to identify and address any maintenance or cleanliness issues.
Train and educate the kitchen staff on proper food safety procedures and hygiene practices.

Operational Efficiency:
Optimize kitchen operations to ensure efficient workflow and timely food preparation.
Monitor kitchen equipment and arrange for repairs or maintenance as needed.
Implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality, such as controlling food waste, reducing utility expenses, or streamlining processes.
Collaborate with the restaurant management team to coordinate kitchen operations.

Administrative Tasks:
Manage kitchen budgets, including food cost and kitchen supplies.
Maintain accurate records of inventory, food orders, and kitchen expenses.
Email reports on kitchen performance, including sales, food costs, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills:
Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or food service establishment in the Burger and Pizza segment.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety regulations.
Good leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent. Culinary or hospitality-related certifications or degrees are a plus.
Minimum 1 year of experience as a shift or kitchen manager.
