Job Overview:
As a Laundry Delivery Boy at Fabrico, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate delivery of laundry items to our customers. Your primary responsibilities will include navigating delivery routes efficiently, maintaining a professional and customer-friendly demeanor, and upholding the highest standards of service.
Responsibilities:
1.      Timely Delivery:
·        Deliver laundered items to customers on assigned routes in a punctual and efficient manner.
·        Ensure all deliveries are accurate, matching the provided order details.
2.      Customer Service:
·        Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
·        Address customer inquiries or concerns politely and escalate issues to the appropriate department when necessary.
3.      Vehicle Maintenance:
·        Conduct routine checks on the delivery vehicle before and after each shift to ensure it is in proper working condition.
·        Report any vehicle issues promptly to the supervisor.
4.      Route Optimization:
·        Plan delivery routes in the most efficient manner to save time and fuel costs.
·        Adapt to changes in delivery schedules as needed.
5.      Communication:
·        Maintain clear and open communication with the dispatch team, keeping them informed of any delays, issues, or changes in the delivery schedule.
6.      Record-Keeping:
·        Keep accurate records of delivered items, including obtaining customer signatures and noting any discrepancies.
7.      Adherence to Safety Standards:
·        Follow all safety guidelines and traffic rules while operating the delivery vehicle.
·        Use safety equipment, such as seat belts, at all times.
Qualifications:
·        Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
·        Proven experience as a delivery driver or similar role.
·        Strong knowledge of local traffic and routes.
·        Excellent customer service and communication skills.
·        Ability to lift and carry laundry items and packages as needed.
·        Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
·        Time management and organizational skills.
Additional Requirements:
·        High school diploma or equivalent.
·        Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if required.
·        Ability to handle physical demands, including lifting and bending.
