Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements related to Master Data Governance processes.
• Design, configure, and implement SAP MDG solutions for:
  • Business Partner (Customer & Vendor)
  • Material Master
  • Financial Master Data
  • Customer Master
  • Supplier/Vendor Master
• Configure governance processes, workflows, validations, derivations, and approval processes.
• Support MDG data modeling, change requests, data replication, and consolidation activities.
• Design and implement data quality and data governance frameworks.
• Work with business stakeholders to define data standards, policies, and governance procedures.
• Develop functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams for enhancements and custom developments.
• Perform system integration testing, UAT support, and issue resolution.
• Support data migration activities and master data harmonization initiatives.
• Ensure seamless integration between SAP MDG and SAP ECC/SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Provide production support and troubleshoot critical MDG-related issues.
• Conduct end-user training and prepare functional documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 6–10 years of overall SAP experience with at least 3+ years of hands-on SAP MDG experience.
• Strong expertise in:
  • SAP MDG-M (Material Master)
  • SAP MDG-BP (Business Partner)
  • SAP MDG-C (Customer)
  • SAP MDG-S (Supplier/Vendor)
  • SAP MDG-F (Financial Data)
• Experience in:
  • Data Modeling
  • Change Request Management
  • Workflow Configuration
  • Data Replication Framework (DRF)
  • Data Quality Management
  • Business Rules and Validations
• Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA master data architecture.
• Experience working with data governance and compliance frameworks.
• Hands-on experience in implementation, support, rollout, and upgrade projects.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Experience in global master data governance programs.
• Exposure to Agile and SAP Activate methodologies.
• Experience in Manufacturing, Retail, Consumer Goods, Automotive, or Life Sciences industries.
