SRE Administrator - Specialist-Integrated Operations

What you’ll be doing:

• Be primarily responsible for providing production, operations support and application administration to NVIDIA’s business and web applications, 3rd party applications and related ecosystems.
• The application environment though mixed, is primarily based on Microsoft technologies. Among the environments which will be supported are intranet and extranet applications and 3rd party applications.
• Day to day responsibilities include working on all types of production support activities, attending help requests, installations, configurations, debugging, troubleshooting and root cause analysis, working on application design and deployment projects, change management and monitoring.

What we need to see:

• BS/MS degree with about five years of solid experience as an application support administrator, primarily in a Microsoft oriented IT environment.
• Excellent knowledge in administering applications in AWS/Azure cloud with a minimum of two years of experience.
• Excellent technical understanding of n-Tiered Microsoft platforms and application architectures.
• Strong expertise in Web Server Knowledge - IIS, Apache web server.
• Strong experience with power shell scripts.
• Good understanding of common network protocols (HTTP, FTP) and SSL along with knowledge of debugging network related issues using various available tools like Wireshark.
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent work experience in supporting ASP/.Net based applications (custom developed and off-the-shelf systems).
• Experience in application security.
• Experience and ability to reverse engineer systems for troubleshooting. Application, Database and Operating System debugging is a must.
• Ability to fine tune applications for any performance issues.
• Excellent knowledge in automatic CI/CD deployment of applications.
• Thorough understanding of monitoring systems and monitoring methodology.
• Effective written and oral communication skills (must be able to articulate technical designs, strategies, and problems to management).
• Working knowledge of SQL databases.
