SAP EP
Role: SAP Enterprise Portal Consultant
Experience: 5–10 Years
Key Responsibilities
Administer, configure, maintain, and support SAP Enterprise Portal (EP).
Manage Portal Roles, Worksets, Pages, iViews and Portal Content.
Configure and maintain Portal Content Directory (PCD).
Support user management, role assignments, permissions, and access-related issues.
Configure and troubleshoot Single Sign-On (SSO) and authentication mechanisms.
upport integration of SAP EP with SAP ECC/S/4HANA, BW, SuccessFactors and other SAP/non-SAP applications, as applicable.
Monitor portal availability, performance, logs, and system health.
Troubleshoot portal login, navigation, authorization, connectivity, and performance issues.
Support SAP NetWeaver Java / AS Java administration activities related to Enterprise Portal.
Coordinate with SAP Basis, Security, ABAP, functional, infrastructure, and network teams for issue resolution.
Support portal patches, upgrades, system refreshes, and migration activities.
Perform root-cause analysis for recurring production issues and implement corrective actions.
Handle incidents, service requests, problem tickets, and change requests within agreed SLAs.
Support testing, deployment, cutover, and post-production stabilization.
Maintain SOPs, technical documentation, configuration documents, and knowledge articles.
Mandatory Skills
Strong hands-on experience with SAP Enterprise Portal / SAP NetWeaver Portal.
Experience with iViews, Pages, Worksets, Roles and PCD.
Good knowledge of SAP NetWeaver AS Java.
Experience with User Management Engine (UME) and portal security.
Knowledge of SSO, authentication, certificates and SAP system connectivity.
Experience in portal monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance analysis.
Good understanding of integration with SAP backend systems.
Experience in AMS L2/L3 support and/or implementation projects.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
