About the role

As a Regional Tax Compliance Snr Analyst – Indirect Tax you will report to the Area Tax Compliance & Reporting Snr Manager with a dotted line to the Controller for the respective market(s), supporting tax compliance and reporting activities across multiple jurisdictions. You will support the preparation and review of indirect tax (VAT/GST) filings, analyse indirect tax (VAT/GST) positions, and provide insights to support business decisions. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of Indirect Tax matters, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and develop your expertise in a dynamic, global environment.

Your responsibilities

• Support preparation and review of indirect tax (VAT/GST) returns and supporting documentation.
• Review of indirect tax (VAT/GST) returns prepared by an Outsource Partner (Big4 firm).
• Assist in gathering and analyzing financial data for indirect tax (VAT/GST) reporting and compliance.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate and timely indirect tax return submissions.

The experience we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or tax
• 5-8 years of experience in tax compliance or analysis
• Strong technical knowledge of tax regulations and reporting, EU VAT and GST regimes, digital reporting requirements such as SAF-T, e-invoicing and other similar.
• Experience working in the Shared Service Center and/or Center of Excellence environment is desired
• Advance English; other languages (e.g. French, Italian, Portuguese) is a plus
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in working with SAP
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
