This role requires close collaboration with sales and delivery teams to craft strategies that not only meet client expectations but also provide a strong foundation for successful project execution. The position demands continuous engagement with various stakeholders to ensure that the proposed solutions are practical, innovative, and add significant value to the client s business case, fostering long-term partnerships and successful outcomes.
We are seeking a seasoned and highly experienced Senior Solution Architect to join our Technology Practice. This is a strategic, client-facing solutioning role where the primary focus is converting sales-qualified opportunities into well-defined, technically sound, and commercially viable solutions. Opportunities are brought in by the Sales Team — your remit begins with validating the requirement and ends with a complete solution ready for delivery.
The successful candidate will work in close partnership with the Sales Team to understand client needs, validate scope, and develop compelling solution proposals. This role demands exceptional communication skills, deep technical expertise across networking, cloud, and Microsoft technologies, and the ability to define resource requirements and delivery timelines with precision.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Requirement Validation & Sales Collaboration
Receive sales-qualified opportunities from the Sales Team and conduct thorough validation of client requirements, scope, and technical feasibility.
Work closely with the Sales Team to clarify ambiguities, fill gaps in the brief, and ensure a clear understanding of the client's business and technical needs before solutioning begins.
Act as the key liaison between the Sales Team and the technical practice — ensuring alignment on scope, timelines, and commercial expectations throughout the engagement.
-Client Engagement & Advisory
Lead client-facing conversations to probe, validate, and refine requirements in collaboration with the Sales Team.
Build credibility with client stakeholders as a trusted technical advisor, articulating solution value clearly at both technical and business levels.
Present solution proposals, architecture blueprints, and delivery roadmaps with confidence to client and internal stakeholders.
-Solutioning & Architecture
Design end-to-end technical solutions across SD-WAN, networking, Network Security, Microsoft Product Suite, and Cloud Implementation Services based on validated requirements.
Define resource requirements and effort estimates — specifying the number of resources and number of days required for delivery.
Develop high-level and detailed architecture documentation, including Bills of Materials (BOMs), Statements of Work (SOWs), and technical proposals.
Ensure proposed solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with client business objectives and industry best practices.
-Internal Coordination & Stakeholder Management
Coordinate internally with delivery leads, engineers, project managers, vendors, and practice leads to validate and refine solutions prior to submission.
Serve as the bridge between the Sales Team and delivery, ensuring a seamless handover with complete solution documentation and knowledge transfer post-award.
Engage with vendor and partner ecosystems (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco, AWS/Azure) to leverage technical and commercial support during the solutioning process.

Professional & Technical Skills:
Required Technical Expertise -
- SD-WAN & Networking
Hands-on experience designing and architecting SD-WAN solutions (e.g., Cisco Meraki, Fortinet, VMware VeloCloud, or equivalent).
Strong grounding in enterprise networking — routing, switching, firewalls, MPLS, BGP, and network segmentation.
Experience with network transformation projects, including migration from legacy WAN to SD-WAN environments.
-Microsoft Product Suite
Deep expertise across Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory, Intune, Teams, SharePoint, and related productivity and security toolsets.
Familiarity with Microsoft licensing models and their commercial implications in solution design.
Experience with Microsoft security frameworks including Defender, Sentinel, and Zero Trust architecture principles.
-Cloud Implementation Services
Proven experience architecting cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure and/or AWS — including IaaS, PaaS, hybrid cloud, and cloud migration projects.
Understanding of cloud governance, cost optimisation, and security best practices in enterprise environments.
Ability to size and scope cloud engagements, including resource and effort estimation for delivery.
Additional Information:
-Demonstrated track record of designing and delivering complex, multi-technology solutions in client-facing solutioning roles.
-Experience working alongside Sales Teams — translating sales-qualified opportunities into complete, delivery-ready solution proposals.
-Strong commercial acumen — experience building resource plans, effort estimates, and solution costings.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills ability to present confidently to both technical and non-technical audiences.
-Relevant certifications highly regarded: CCNP/CCIE, Microsoft Azure/M365 certifications, AWS Solutions Architect, TOGAF or equivalent.
-Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
