Senior Manager – Life Sciences (Centre for Reimagination)

Role Purpose

The Senior Manager – Life Sciences CFR Lead will serve as the face of the Life Sciences experience within EY's Centre for Reimagination (CFR).

This individual will bring together deep life sciences expertise, executive storytelling, emerging AI capabilities, and business transformation insights to create immersive experiences that help clients reimagine the future of their organizations.

The role is focused on enabling strategic conversations with senior client leaders rather than traditional project delivery. The successful candidate will help clients understand how AI, digital innovation, data, and emerging operating models can transform the pharmaceutical and life sciences value chain from discovery through commercialization and market access.

Key Responsibilities

Executive Client Engagement

• Lead and facilitate executive-level CFR visits for pharmaceutical, biotech, medtech, and healthcare clients and internal EY senior stakeholders
• Engage confidently with C-suite leaders and senior functional stakeholders across R&D, medical affairs, commercial, market access, manufacturing, and corporate strategy to develop and update content
• Tailor client experiences to address organization-specific strategic priorities

Storytelling & Experience Design

• Develop compelling narratives that bring future-state life sciences scenarios and developments to life
• Translate complex scientific, commercial, and technological concepts into clear executive stories
• Design immersive client journeys across the life sciences value chain
• Connect emerging technologies to tangible business outcomes

Life Sciences Subject Matter Leadership

• Demonstrate understanding of the end-to-end pharmaceutical value chain:
• Research and discovery
• Clinical development
• Regulatory affairs
• Manufacturing and supply chain
• Medical affairs
• Commercial strategy
• Market access and pricing
• Patient engagement
• Identify emerging trends shaping the future of the industry
• Continuously evolve CFR content to reflect market developments

AI & Innovation Leadership

• Maintain deep awareness of emerging AI tools and technology trends relevant to life sciences
• Showcase practical applications of AI across the drug development and commercialization continuum
• Translate technical capabilities into business-relevant value propositions
• Collaborate with technology, data, and engineering teams to develop new CFR demonstrations and experiences

Content Development

• Own the creation and evolution of life sciences CFR assets, demonstrations, scripts, and executive presentations
• Build industry-specific use cases and future-state scenarios
• Ensure content remains current, thought-provoking, and commercially relevant

Market Leadership

• Represent EY Life Sciences at client events, innovation forums, and executive workshops
• Support priority pursuits through tailored client experiences and innovation sessions

Ideal Candidate

Experience

• 10–15+ years of experience in life sciences consulting, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or healthcare
• Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry beyond a single functional area
• Experience interacting directly with senior client stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to influence executive audiences
