Credit Officer - Agri| Wayanad
To support credit assessment and portfolio quality for the agriculture lending portfolio through evaluation of customer information, financial analysis and credit due diligence. The role provides recommendations based on risk assessment and ensures compliance with credit policies, regulatory requirements and lending guidelines.
- Appraise and recommend agriculture credit proposals in accordance with credit policies, lending guidelines, and delegated authority.
- Assess agricultural income, cropping patterns, farm cash flows, land holdings, and other agri-specific risk factors as part of credit evaluation.
- Conduct customer visits and Personal Discussions (PDs) to evaluate borrower profile, farming activities, repayment capacity, and business viability.
- Analyze customer information, financial data, cash flows, and credit parameters to support underwriting decisions.
- Monitor portfolio quality, delinquency trends, and NPA levels and highlight emerging risks.
- Review delinquent accounts and support portfolio reviews to strengthen risk management practices.
- Identify process, policy, and credit risk gaps and recommend appropriate corrective measures.
- Ensure compliance with credit policies, regulatory requirements, and internal control standards.
