Summary:
As a Cloud Platform Engineer, a typical day involves designing and constructing cloud application solutions that seamlessly integrate both cloud-based and traditional infrastructure components. The role includes testing and deploying these solutions to ensure they meet performance and security standards. Additionally, the engineer develops proof of architecture models to validate the feasibility and robustness of the proposed infrastructure and platform environments, ensuring they align with organizational goals and operational requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the evaluation and implementation of new cloud technologies to enhance platform capabilities.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to foster continuous learning and development.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure alignment of cloud infrastructure with business objectives.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in AWS Core Infrastructure.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure automation and orchestration tools.
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
- Ability to design scalable and resilient cloud architectures.
- Familiarity with monitoring and performance tuning of cloud environments.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in AWS Core Infrastructure.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
