Senior Specialist - System Management
Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator DBA Oracle Applications DBA Apps DBA to manage maintain and optimize our Oracle database and Oracle EBusiness Suite EBS environments This hybrid role requires strong expertise in both core database administration and Oracle EBS application administration ensuring high availability performance security and business continuity
Key Responsibilities
Database Administration Core DBA
Install configure and upgrade Oracle databases 19c and newer
Monitor and optimize database performance troubleshoot bottlenecks and tune SQLPLSQL queries
Manage backup recovery and disaster recovery RMAN Data Guard
Administer Oracle RAC ASM and high availability solutions
Implement database security user management vulnerability fix and compliance controls
DB CPU and Bug Fix Patching
Monitoring Tool OEM 13c installation configuration agents targets metric extensions Agent patching Metrics management Toad
Knowledge on onprem Exadata patching OCI ExaCS operations OCI DB HomeOracle Home patching RUCPU using OCI Console
Good knowledge on Shell Scripting
Applications Administration Apps DBA
Configure clone adop patch and upgrade Oracle EBusiness Suite R122
Manage application and database tiers including WebLogic Forms Concurrent Processing and Workflow
Apply and validate application patches critical updates and system migrations
Perform environment cloning refreshes and crossplatform migrations
Troubleshoot issues spanning database application and middle tiers
General
Collaborate with development functional and infrastructure teams to support business needs
Maintain documentation standard operating procedures and audit readiness
Participate in 205 and oncall support on weekend for production environments as needed
Support Client other thrid party software for BAU activities
