What would you do? Record-to-Report (R2R) is a critical finance function responsible for ensuring accurate financial accounting, compliance, reporting, and financial governance. As organizations continue to modernize finance operations, there is an increasing focus on automation, standardization, and digital transformation. Accenture partners with global clients to transform Finance functions through process optimization, BlackLine implementations, SAP integration, and intelligent automation. This role will support leading strategic Finance Transformation engagements, helping clients modernize their R2R landscape by leveraging BlackLine and industry-leading practices. You will be aligned with our Finance Operations practice and support the delivery of Record-to-Report (R2R) transformation and automation engagements for global clients. Working closely with the Engagement Lead, you will support the implementation of BlackLine solutions by understanding business requirements, contributing to solution design, and coordinating implementation activities across assigned workstreams. You will collaborate with client stakeholders, Operations teams, and cross-functional delivery teams to deliver scalable automation solutions that enhance finance operations, improve operational efficiency, and drive process standardization. The role requires strong expertise in R2R processes, accounting, SAP, BlackLine, stakeholder management, and project delivery, with the ability to support successful implementation and continuous improvement initiatives The role requires strong expertise in R2R processes, accounting, SAP, BlackLine, solution design, stakeholder management, consulting, and delivery leadership. •Experience supporting BlackLine implementation and Finance Transformation initiatives within Finance Operations or Shared Services environments. •Hands-on experience with BlackLine, SAP S/4HANA (or other ERP platforms), and Record-to-Report process automation. •Experience working with global clients in a client-facing implementation or delivery role; BlackLine certification or equivalent finance automation certifications will be an added advantage
What are we looking for? The following skills are required to perform this role- • Strong expertise in Record-to-Report (R2R) processes with sound accounting knowledge and understanding of financial controls. • Hands-on experience in BlackLine implementation and finance process automation, with knowledge of SAP S/4HANA or other ERP platforms. • Ability to understand business requirements and support the design and implementation of scalable automation solutions. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across client and delivery teams. • Experience supporting end-to-end project delivery, including solution design, testing, deployment, and hypercare activities. • Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills with the ability to conduct client workshops and requirement-gathering sessions. • Ability to mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives. • Experience working in global delivery environments and supporting multi-geography client engagements. Additionally, you must possess the following skills- • Ability to build effective client relationships and collaborate with cross-functional and global delivery teams. • Strong team collaboration, mentoring, and coordination skills to support successful project delivery. • Professional certifications in BlackLine, SAP, or Finance Transformation methodologies will be an added advantage.
Roles and Responsibilities: • Support the delivery of Finance Transformation and BlackLine implementation engagements across global clients. • Work closely with the Engagement Lead to gather business requirements, conduct workshops, and support solution design activities. • Configure, implement, and support BlackLine solutions across Record-to-Report processes, ensuring alignment with business and accounting requirements. • Provide functional expertise across R2R processes, including journals, reconciliations, financial close, reporting, and controls. • Coordinate implementation activities, testing, deployment, hypercare, and issue resolution to support successful project delivery. • Collaborate with client stakeholders, Operations teams, and cross-functional delivery teams to drive automation, process standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives. • Support project governance by tracking deliverables, risks, issues, and project milestones while ensuring delivery excellence. • Mentor junior team members and contribute to capability development, knowledge sharing, and adoption of leading practices..
