Role Overview:
We are looking for a highly analytical and data-driven Data Analyst to help drive business growth through insights, experimentation, and performance analysis which impacts revenue.

In this role, you will work closely with Product, Growth, Business, and Operations teams to uncover opportunities, monitor key metrics, build dashboards, and support strategic decision-making. You will transform complex data into actionable insights that influence product development, user engagement, revenue growth, and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate has strong SQL skills, a solid understanding of business metrics, and the ability to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.

Roles & Responsibilities :
Business & Product Analytics

• Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, opportunities, and business risks.
• Translate business and product questions into structured analytical frameworks and actionable insights.
• Define, track, and improve key business and product metrics across acquisition, activation, engagement, retention, and monetization.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses to support strategic decision-making across products and business functions.
• Perform cohort, funnel, segmentation, and behavioral analyses to understand user journeys and improve product performance.

Root Cause Analysis (RCA) & Problem Solving

• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to identify the underlying drivers of changes in business, product, and operational metrics.
• Investigate user drop-offs, retention declines, revenue fluctuations, operational inefficiencies, and data anomalies.
• Develop hypotheses, validate them using data, and recommend actionable solutions.
• Partner with stakeholders to implement and measure the impact of corrective actions.

Dashboarding & Reporting

• Build, maintain, and automate dashboards to track critical business and product KPIs.
• Develop recurring reports for leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Ensure reporting accuracy, consistency, and reliability across data sources.
• Establish metric definitions and maintain a single source of truth for performance tracking.

Experimentation & Growth Analytics

• Support A/B testing and experimentation initiatives by defining success metrics and measuring outcomes.
• Evaluate the impact of product launches, growth initiatives, campaigns, and operational changes.
• Measure experiment performance and provide recommendations based on statistical and business impact.
• Work closely with Product and Growth teams to optimize user experience and business outcomes.

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with Product, Business, Operations, Growth, and Leadership teams to understand analytical requirements.
• Present insights, recommendations, and business implications clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Act as a strategic partner by enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Data Quality & Governance

• Validate data quality and investigate discrepancies across systems and reports.
• Document business definitions, reporting logic, and analytical methodologies.
• Contribute to scalable analytics processes and best practices

Requirements

Must Have

• 1–4 years of experience in Data Analytics, Product Analytics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, including joins, subqueries, CTEs, window functions, and complex data analysis.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Experience with BI and visualization tools such as Metabase, Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) skills.
• Experience working with large datasets and translating data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  

Good to Have

• Experience with Python (Pandas, NumPy) for data analysis and automation.
• Exposure to BigQuery, ClickHouse, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar databases.
• Understanding of product analytics concepts such as retention, activation, engagement, conversion, churn, and monetisation.
• Experience with A/B testing, experimentation frameworks, and statistical analysis.
• Prior experience in consumer internet, marketplace, SaaS, social, content, creator economy, edtech, or community-led platforms.
