Product Manager, Payment Platform

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of experience with product management.

Preferred qualifications:

• 4 years of industry experience leading medium to large complex products, successfully navigating multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Strong generalist Product Manager (PM) toolkit with a highly scrappy, hands-on, and ownership-driven approach to solving ambiguous problems.
• Demonstrated experience developing technical roadmaps and plans to implement end-to-end solutions, with a strong interest in leveraging AI/ML and modernizing tech stacks.
• Proven ability to build strong, productive relationships and influence cross-functional teams (including engineering, operations, and business partners) to deliver customer-first solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the product goal for key areas within the Payments ecosystem, acting as a strategic growth enabler for Google's suite of products.
• Partner directly with First-Party (1P) integrators (such as Cloud and Play) to deeply understand their business goals, define scalable solutions, and launch products that accelerate their growth.
• Advocate a customer-first approach, designing solutions that achieve necessary business and regulatory standards with minimal user friction.
• Build out a forward-looking strategy and roadmap that leverages AI/ML and an innovation-first tech stack to improve the customer experience, optimize operational efficiency, and reduce overall operational costs.
• Demonstrate extreme ownership and an entrepreneurial, scrappy mindset to develop and manage complex, large-scale, end-to-end projects, working closely with cross-functional partners to ensure on-time delivery.
