What you’ll do

• Works within Data and Analytics to independently design projects to meet business needs.  May lead a small team to execute on project design, partner with internal stakeholders where appropriate. 

• Create and maintain complex sets of code and comprehensive datasets that can be leveraged to support analysis and insights across multiple projects or business needs

• Strategic understanding of analytical insights and where to leverage analytical insights to develop solutions, improve processes and work with the business partners to implement proposed solutions

• Leverage business and data knowledge to design analytical datasets that can support comprehensive and complex analytical insights. Acts as a domain and/or technical lead to more junior members.  Define ingestion prioritizations. 

• Package, summarize, visualize and perform storytelling on analytical findings and results for senior management and business users

• Solve complex internal or customer analytical problems across various business domains and areas of expertise

• Deep understanding of impact and strategic importance of findings on the business (either Equifax or external customer); recommendation of the appropriate course of action; ability to advocate to implementation of solutions and improved processes, as well as share the qualitative and quantitative elements to drive value and share the "so what' out of the analysis being performed. 

• Communicate and present results to senior management and external stakeholders

What experience you need

(REMOVE THIS INSTRUCTION: 7 or less requirements recommended; each should be MEASURABLE and SPECIFIC)

• BS degree in a STEM major or equivalent discipline; Master’s Degree strongly preferred

• 7-10 years of experience in a related role, with experience demonstrating leadership capabilities 

• Cloud certification strongly preferred

• Technical capabilities including SQL, BigQuery, R, Python, MS Excel / Google Sheets, Tableau, Looker

• Experience working as a team and collaborating with others on producing descriptive and diagnostic analysis. Experience working with non-technical partners to explore new capabilities and data monetisation opportunities
