Role Description

The role will drive technology and digital transformation initiatives for the Distribution of Insurance business, acting as a key liaison between business, technology, operations, and insurance partner teams. The incumbent will be responsible for project delivery, requirement gathering, UAT, process automation, MIS and dashboard development, and enhancement of digital customer journeys. The role requires strong understanding of insurance workflows, regulatory requirements, data analytics, and platform integrations to improve business outcomes and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end technology projects, system enhancements, and digital initiatives.
• Prepare BRDs, functional requirements, process flows, and business use cases.
• Coordinate with business, technology, operations, compliance, and insurance partner teams.
• Lead UAT planning, execution, defect management, and production rollouts.
• Develop and automate MIS, dashboards, and business insights using Power BI, SQL, Python, and AI-enabled tools.
• Drive adoption of AI tools – like - Microsoft Copilot, Ko-Work, and other automation solutions to improve productivity and reporting.
• Manage and enhance online journeys, lead management systems, consent management platforms, customer engagement tools, and campaign workflows.
• Support API integrations and ensure seamless data exchange between bank and insurer systems.
• Analyze business processes and recommend digital and automation-led improvements.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory, legal, compliance, data privacy, and governance requirements.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-centric and scalable solutions.

Key Skills Required

Business & Functional

• Strong Understanding of Insurance products, processes, and customer journeys.
• Business analysis, requirement gathering, and process mapping.
• Project management and stakeholder management.
• Knowledge of regulatory, compliance, risk, and legal requirements.

Technical

• Power BI, SQL, and Python.
• MS Azure and Agile project management tools.
• API integrations and workflow automation.
• Knowledge of LMS, CRM, consent management, customer engagement, and campaign management platforms.

Automation & Analytics

• Experience leveraging Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Ko-Work, Power Automate, and similar AI tools.
• MIS automation, dashboarding, and data-driven decision-making.

Soft Skills

• Strong communication and presentation skills.

• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously.

Qualification & Experience

• Postgraduate in Business, Engineering, Technology, Analytics, or related disciplines.
• 5-8 years of experience in Life/General Insurance, Bancassurance, Digital Products, Business Analysis, or Technology Project Management.
• Prior experience in insurance digital journeys, automation, and partner integrations will be preferred.
