Client service is focused on providing Consulting, Assurance, Tax, Strategy & Transactions, and Knowledge support to our clients around the world. The teams enable account teams worldwide to provide seamless, high-quality, value-added support, helping deliver exceptional client service.

Enablement Services provides cost-effective, high-skilled, and innovative services to support EY’s global and local enablement teams. Markets, BMC, AWS, Finance and Accounting, Risk Management, Procurement, People Shared Services, IT Service Delivery and IT Global Infrastructure services, are among the services offered by Enablement Services.

Our innovation specialists serve the GDS Client Service and Enablement Services teams, along with Service Lines, Core Business Services and Sectors. The team brings the desired environment, technologies and skilled teams together for facilitation, rapid prototyping and innovative thinking. The competencies offered include analytics, digital, user experience, mobile technology, infrastructure, Microsoft technologies and open innovation.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated Treasury Operations & Integrated Finance Staff Specialist to support global clients in executing and maintaining day-to-day treasury and finance operations. This role provides an excellent opportunity to build foundational expertise in cash management, payment processing, liquidity monitoring, and financial reporting , while working in a dynamic and technology-driven environment.

As part of the team, you will support key treasury processes and assist in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant execution of financial transactions , while gaining exposure to treasury management systems, ERP platforms, and automation tools. You will collaborate with treasury, finance, and accounting teams to deliver efficient and high-quality operational support.

This role offers a strong learning pathway to develop expertise in treasury operations, system integration, and financial controls , contributing to overall operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.

You will be responsible for executing tasks with increasing autonomy, applying sound judgment within defined parameters, and contributing to team outcomes. You are expected to demonstrate initiative, resolve routine issues independently, and support junior colleagues.

You will anticipate and identify risks within engagements and share any issues with senior members of the team.

Your Key Responsibilities

Treasury Operations Execution

• Support daily treasury activities , including cash flow tracking, bank account monitoring, and transaction processing
• Assist in execution of payments, intercompany funding, and settlements
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of treasury transactions and operational activities
• Adhere to established policies, procedures, and internal control frameworks

Cash & Liquidity Support

• Assist in cash positioning and monitoring of bank balances across entities
• Support preparation and maintenance of cash forecasts and liquidity reports
• Help track and analyse cash movements and working capital data

Systems & Data Management

• Work with treasury management systems (e.g., Quantum, Kyriba, Trax) and ERP platforms (e.g., SAP)
• Support data uploads, validation, and reconciliation across systems
• Assist in monitoring interfaces between treasury systems, banks, and ERP platforms
• Help identify opportunities for process improvement and automation

Reconciliation & Reporting

• Perform bank and cash reconciliations , ensuring accuracy of transactions
• Assist in preparing treasury reports, dashboards, and supporting documentation
• Support variance analysis and investigation of discrepancies
• Contribute to month-end close activities and reporting requirements

Risk & Compliance Support

• Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements
• Support audit processes and documentation requirements
• Assist in identifying and escalating operational risks and issues

Client Interaction & Team Collaboration

• Support client deliverables and respond to operational queries
• Collaborate with treasury, finance, accounting, and IT teams
• Participate in UAT, system testing, and process improvement initiatives
• Maintain process documentation and knowledge-sharing materials

Skills and attributes for success

Ideally, you’ll also:

• Basic understanding of treasury operations , including cash management, payments, and bank reconciliations
• Familiarity with treasury management systems (Quantum, Kyriba, Trax) or ERP systems (SAP, Oracle)
• Knowledge of payment processes and bank connectivity basics
• Understanding of financial concepts such as cash flow, working capital, and liquidity
• Exposure to financial reporting, reconciliation, or accounting processes
• Basic knowledge of automation or reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, SQL – preferred)
• Awareness of internal controls, compliance, and risk management practices
