Job Summary

 

If you are a Design Engineer, Emerson has an exciting role for you! We are looking for a Design Engineer to work with our Pervasive Sensing Team. This role will work independently and as a part of a team to generate Customer Drawings. You will also be responsible for Creating Quote Drawings.

 

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

 

• Create 3D CAD Models, Assemblies & Drawings in SolidWorks.

• Create Quotation, Level 2, Level 3 & Level 4 drawings using SolidWorks.

• Create drawings for Parts and accessories.

• Preparation of compiled drawing documentation along with sales documents.

• Perform peer drawing checks.

• Revise Level Drawings per customer requirement.

• Prepare Bill of Materials for Level Drawings.

• Create missing hookups and store in database for future use.

• Maintain documents in SolidWorks PDM.

• Allocate and review workload for peer drafters.

• Coordinate between the Nippon Fisher CD Team and the FCEC CD Team.

• Coordinate with the Sales, OE and Engineering teams for any required clarifications.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Experience in CAD modelling.

• Basic knowledge in SolidWorks.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Mechanical/Automobile/Production Engineering. 

• Basic understanding of Engineering Standards

• Experience in SolidWorks Macros is added advantage.
