Senior Engineer - Cloud & Infra Management
Microsoft Intune Administration EngineeringAdminister and support Microsoft Intune for enterprise endpoint management
Manage Windows device enrolment and provisioning
Design configure and maintain
Configuration profiles
Compliance policies
Device restrictions
Security policies
Administrative templates
Endpoint security policies
Update policies and rings
Manage application deployment through Intune for Windows endpoints
Configure and troubleshoot Win32 application deployments
Manage application assignments dependencies requirements detection rules and supersedence
Troubleshoot application installation and deployment failures using Intune and endpointside logs
Support Windows Autopilot deployment and troubleshooting
Manage device compliance and remediate noncompliant endpoints
Support integration of Intune with Microsoft Entra ID and the wider Microsoft 365 environment
Troubleshoot device registration enrolment policy application and synchronisation issues
Participate in endpoint security compliance and vulnerability remediation initiatives
Application Packaging
Perform complete application packaging lifecycle activities including application analysis packaging testing deployment and remediation
Package and repackage enterprise applications using technologies such as
MSI
MSIX
AppV where applicable
Intune Win32 intunewin packages
Create silent installation and uninstall methods for enterprise applications
Develop and maintain installation wrappers using PowerShell and appropriate packaging frameworks
Create appropriate application
Detection logic
Requirement rules
Dependencies
Returncode handling
Installation and uninstall commands
Troubleshoot complex application installation and compatibility issues
Perform application upgrade supersedence and retirement activities
Analyse vendor installation packages and customise them according to enterprise requirements
Perform preproduction testing before applications are released to production
Maintain packaging standards documentation and application deployment records
PowerShell Automation
Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for endpoint administration and application deployment
Automate application installation detection remediation and uninstall processes
Develop scripts for troubleshooting and gathering endpoint diagnostic information
Create proactive remediation solutions where appropriate
Improve operational efficiency by identifying repetitive administrative activities suitable for automation
Endpoint Troubleshooting
Provide L3 troubleshooting for complex endpoint issues including
Intune enrolment failures
Policy deployment failures
Application installation failures
Device compliance issues
Windows Autopilot issues
Configuration profile conflicts
Windows update issues
PowerShell deployment failures
Application compatibility issues
Device registration and authentication issues
Perform detailed rootcause analysis and provide permanent remediation wherever possible
Technical Skills Required
Mandatory
9 years of overall experience in endpoint management andor application packaging
Strong handson experience with Microsoft Intune
Strong application packaging experience
Strong experience with MSI packaging and application customisation
Experience with Win32 application packaging and deployment through Intune
Strong PowerShell scripting skills
Experience with Windows 1011 endpoint administration
Experience troubleshooting Intune Management Extension and application deployment issues
Good understanding of Microsoft Entra ID device concepts
Experience with device configuration and compliance policies
Understanding of Windows registry services scheduled tasks and filesystem permissions
Strong knowledge of application installation technologies and Windows Installer behaviour
