Laboratory Technician

• Key ResponsibilitiesPerform routine laboratory testing and sample processing as per SOPs.
• Receive, identify, label and process patient samples accurately.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment as per defined procedures.
• Perform tests in areas such as Biochemistry, Hematology, Clinical Pathology, Serology and other relevant sections, based on qualification and laboratory requirements.
• Ensure proper sample handling, storage and disposal.
• Maintain accurate records of testing, QC and sample processing.
• Perform internal quality control and report any deviations immediately.
• Follow all laboratory safety, infection-control and biomedical-waste management protocols.
• Coordinate with the reporting, logistics and operations teams for smooth sample movement and timely reporting.
• Identify and escalate abnormal, inadequate or rejected samples according to SOP.
• Maintain cleanliness and discipline within the laboratory.
• Support calibration, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment.
• Participate in audits, quality improvement initiatives and training programs.
• Ensure compliance with Labridge's quality and operational standards.
• Who We Are Looking ForQualification: DMLT / BMLT / B.Sc. MLT or relevant laboratory qualification.
• Experience: 0–5 years in a pathology/diagnostic laboratory.
• Freshers with the right attitude and willingness to learn are welcome.
• Good understanding of basic laboratory procedures and sample handling.
• Ability to work accurately under time-sensitive conditions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work in shifts, wherever required.
• Comfortable working with laboratory technology and basic computer systems.
