Job Description
- Key ResponsibilitiesAchieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets in the assigned territory.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with doctors, pharmacies, distributors, gyms, wellness stores, nutrition centres, retailers, and modern trade outlets etc.
- Conduct regular doctor and healthcare professional visits to introduce products, communicate product benefits, and generate recommendations and business opportunities.
- Execute medical representative-style coverage plans, including daily call planning, doctor/chemist coverage, follow-ups, and territory expansion.
- Deliver effective product detailing and presentations to doctors, pharmacists, nutritionists, gym trainers, and other relevant professionals.
- Build a strong network of key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, retailers, and institutional customers.
- Identify and onboard new customers, distributors, stockists, pharmacies, and retail outlets.
- Generate leads through telecalling, field prospecting, referrals, and market visits and convert them into business.
- Conduct regular field visits, product demonstrations, promotional activities, and in-store activations to increase product awareness and sales.
- Ensure adequate product visibility, merchandising, POSM placement, and brand promotion at retail outlets.
- Educate customers and sales partners about product composition, benefits, usage, dosage, key features, and differentiating factors, strictly as per approved product communication.
- Generate repeat business by maintaining regular follow-ups with existing customers and ensuring high customer satisfaction.
- Book orders, coordinate with the internal team for product dispatch and delivery, and follow up for timely payment collection.
- Monitor secondary sales, stock availability, product movement, pricing, schemes, and retailer feedback.
- Track competitor products, pricing, promotional activities, new launches, and market trends and provide actionable market feedback to management.
- Plan daily routes and optimize territory coverage, customer calls, and field productivity.
- Maintain accurate records of doctor calls, customer visits, orders, collections, new leads, follow-ups, and market activities.
- Submit daily/weekly/monthly sales and market reports to management.
- Participate in trade exhibitions, medical events, FMCG events, flea markets, B2B meetings, product launches, and offline promotional campaigns to generate sales and brand awareness.
- Support the company in executing sampling programs, doctor engagement activities, retailer promotions, and other sales initiatives.
- Collect customer and healthcare-professional feedback regarding product acceptance, efficacy perception, pricing, packaging, and market requirements.
- Identify new market opportunities and support expansion into new territories, channels, and customer segments.
- Ensure professional representation of the company and maintain a positive relationship with all customers and business partners.
- Perform payment collection and product delivery coordination where required.
- Work closely with the sales and marketing team to achieve overall business objectives.
