Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Store Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of a reputed jewellery showroom. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership, sales management, customer relationship, and team-handling skills, along with the ability to achieve sales targets and maintain excellent showroom standards.

Roles & Responsibilities

Store Operations

• Manage the daily operations of the jewellery showroom.
• Ensure smooth functioning of the showroom and adherence to company policies.
• Maintain proper stock management, inventory records, and jewellery security procedures.
• Coordinate with the accounts, inventory, and head office teams.

Sales & Business Development

• Achieve monthly sales targets and drive showroom profitability.
• Monitor daily sales performance and prepare sales reports.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales and improve customer conversion.
• Implement sales strategies to maximize revenue.

Team Management

• Lead, supervise, and motivate the showroom sales team.
• Allocate duties and monitor individual employee performance.
• Conduct regular team meetings and provide product and sales guidance.
• Ensure discipline, grooming, punctuality, and professional behaviour

Customer Relationship Management

• Ensure excellent customer service and customer satisfaction.
• Handle customer complaints, escalations, and special requests professionally.
• Build long-term customer relationships and encourage repeat business.
• Ensure a premium and personalized shopping experience.

Inventory & Jewellery Security

• Monitor stock movement, physical verification, and inventory reconciliation.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and security of gold, diamond, and other jewellery.
• Minimize stock discrepancies and follow established security protocols.
• Ensure accurate documentation of stock transfers and transactions.

Reporting & Compliance

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales and operational reports.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), including sales, conversion, and customer feedback.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and showroom standards.
• Maintain showroom presentation, cleanliness, and visual merchandising standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline; retail management qualifications are an advantage.
• Proven experience in retail store management or showroom operations.
• Jewellery industry experience will be preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
• Good knowledge of sales planning, inventory control, and customer service.
• Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in MS Excel or retail billing software.
• Ability to manage a team, achieve targets, and work in a fast-paced retail environment.
