Job Description
- Key Responsibilities1. Invoicing & General AccountingGenerate accurate B2B tax invoices, credit notes, and debit notes in compliance with statutory rules (including mandatory e-Invoicing and e-Way Bill generation).
- Banking, Reconciliation & MIS ReportingPerform weekly and monthly bank reconciliations across all operational current accounts.
- Coordinate with warehouse/logistics to match physical inventory movements with recorded purchase and sales entries.
- Record daily financial transactions, journal entries, petty cash expenses, and operational overheads.
- Maintain complete and audit-ready filing systems for all physical and digital financial records, purchase orders, and delivery challans.
- Accounts Receivable (AR) & Credit Management monitor client credit terms and track outstanding balances daily.
- Collaborate closely with back-office coordinators and sales teams to release statements of accounts (SOA) and payment reminders via email and WhatsApp.
- Reconcile customer ledgers, identify payment deductions or discrepancies, and issue formal payment receipts.
- Reconcile vendor statements periodically to ensure books match supplier ledgers.
- Statutory Compliance & TaxationGST: Prepare monthly GST data, verify Input Tax Credit (ITC) reconciliation and assist with timely filing of GSTR
- TDS / TCS: Deduct and reconcile applicable TDS/TCS under Income Tax provisions and coordinate quarterly returns/Form 16A generation.
- Support external auditors, tax consultants, and management during internal audits and annual financial closures.
