Field Sales Executive

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and result-oriented Field Sales Executive to promote and sell cement and construction materials in the assigned territory. The candidate will be responsible for developing new customers, maintaining relationships with dealers and distributors, generating sales, and achieving monthly sales targets.

Key Responsibilities'

Visit cement dealers, distributors, retailers, builders, contractors, and construction sites regularly.Generate new business opportunities and expand the customer base in the assigned territory.Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.Promote cement products and explain product quality, pricing, and benefits to customers.Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealers, builders, engineers, contractors, and masons.Identify new construction projects and monitor ongoing construction activities.Ensure timely order booking, delivery coordination, and follow-up with customers.Monitor competitor activities, market prices, and customer requirements.Follow up on outstanding payments and support timely collection.Prepare daily visit reports, sales reports, and market feedback.Coordinate with the sales manager, distributor network, and logistics team.Required SkillsGood communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Strong customer relationship and sales development abilities.Knowledge of cement, building materials, or the construction industry is preferred.Ability to work in the field and travel within the assigned territory.Target-oriented approach and problem-solving skills.Basic knowledge of MS Excel, mobile applications, and sales reporting.Eligibility CriteriaExperience in cement, steel, paint, tiles, hardware, or other building material sales will be an advantage.Must be willing to travel extensively within the assigned territory.A valid two-wheeler driving licence is preferred.Freshers with strong communication and sales skills may also apply.Performance Indicators (KPIs)Monthly sales volume and revenue achievement.New dealer and customer acquisition.Number of productive field visits.Order generation and repeat business.Payment collection and reduction of outstanding dues.Territory growth and customer retention.Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experience.Travel allowance and fuel reimbursement as per company policy.Incentives based on sales performance.Mobile allowance and other benefits as applicable.Interested candidates with a passion for field sales and the construction industry are encouraged to apply.I can also customize this JD for a specific role, such as cement company sales, dealer/distributor sales, project sales, or construction-site sales, with the appropriate responsibilities and targets
