Job Description

The Store Helper is responsible for assisting the Store In-charge in the day-to-day activities of the store, including receiving, handling, storing, issuing, and maintaining materials, tools, and other inventory items. The role requires proper material handling, cleanliness, discipline, and accurate coordination with the store and production departments.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain proper identification and labelling of materials.
  • Support physical stock counting and inventory verification.
  • Keep the store area clean, organized, and free from unnecessary clutter.
  • Assist in loading, unloading, and shifting materials safely.
  • Inform the Store In-charge about shortages, damaged materials, and stock discrepancies.
