Machine Operator

Position: SMT Machine Operator

We are looking for a responsible and technically skilled SMT Machine Operator to operate and monitor SMT production machinery, ensure quality PCB assembly, and maintain smooth production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate SMT pick-and-place machines and related production equipment.
• Load and replace component reels/feeders correctly.
• Monitor machine operation and production output.
• Perform basic machine setup, changeovers, and adjustments.
• Inspect PCBs for component placement, soldering, polarity, and visible defects.
• Operate or assist with solder paste printer and reflow oven, if required.
• Identify machine errors and report technical issues to the supervisor/technician.
• Perform basic cleaning and preventive maintenance of SMT equipment.
• Maintain production records, machine logs, and component usage records.
• Follow ESD, safety, 5S, and quality-control procedures.
• Ensure production targets and quality standards are achieved.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• ITI / Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, or a related technical field preferred.
• Previous experience in SMT/PCB assembly will be an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of electronic components and PCB assembly.
• Ability to identify components and handle small electronic parts carefully.
• Good attention to detail and willingness to work in a production environment.
• Ability to work in shifts and as part of a team.

Preferred Experience:

Experience with SMT pick-and-place machines, solder paste printing, reflow ovens, AOI, or PCB assembly lines.
