Reporting To: Production Manager / Project Manager

Job SummaryThe Production Engineer will be responsible for planning, supervising, and monitoring production activities to ensure timely delivery, quality standards, safety requirements, and efficient utilization of manpower and resources.

Key Responsibilities·        Plan and monitor daily production activities as per project requirements and schedules.

·        Supervise production operations and ensure work is completed as per drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

·        Coordinate with Production, Quality, Purchase, Stores, Maintenance, and Project teams.

·        Monitor manpower, machines, materials, and production resources.

·        Ensure production targets and deadlines are achieved.

·        Identify production issues and implement corrective actions.

·        Ensure proper use and maintenance of machines, tools, and equipment.

·        Maintain production records, daily reports, and other required documentation.

·        Coordinate with the Quality team to ensure compliance with inspection and quality requirements.

·        Ensure compliance with company safety rules and applicable workplace procedures.

·        Minimize material wastage, rework, and production downtime.

·        Support continuous improvement initiatives for productivity and efficiency.

·        Monitor work progress and provide regular updates to management.

·        Ensure housekeeping and 5S practices are maintained in the production area.

·        Perform any other production-related duties assigned by management.

Required Qualifications·        Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

·        2–5 years of experience in production/manufacturing engineering.

·        Knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and engineering drawings.

·        Good knowledge of MS Office and production documentation.

·        Ability to coordinate with multiple departments and manage shop-floor activities.
