Plant / Factory Head

• Lead and manage daily plant operations of aluminium doors, windows, partitions, and related fabrication activities.
• Plan production schedules based on project requirements and delivery commitments.
• Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, materials, and resources.
• Monitor production output and achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
• Minimize production downtime and improve operational efficiency.
• Supervise cutting, punching, machining, assembly, glazing, and finishing processes.
• Ensure adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
• Monitor fabrication quality and dimensional accuracy of products.
• Implement process improvements to reduce wastage and rework.
• Establish and maintain quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
• Conduct regular inspections of fabricated products before dispatch.
• Handle complaints related to quality and ensure corrective actions.
• Coordinate with project and installation teams for quality improvements.
• Coordinate with PPC, Purchase, and Stores departments for material availability.
• Monitor consumption of aluminium profiles, glass, hardware, accessories, and consumables.
• Control inventory levels and minimise excess stock.
• Ensure timely procurement planning for uninterrupted production.
• Ensure preventive and breakdown maintenance of fabrication machinery and equipment.
• Monitor machine performance and coordinate repairs when required.
• Improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
• Lead production supervisors, engineers, operators, and shop-floor workers.
• Allocate manpower as per production requirements.
• Conduct employee training and skill development programs.
• Monitor discipline, attendance, productivity, and performance.
• Ensure compliance with Safety Standards, and Company Policies.
• Conduct safety inspections and toolbox talks.
• Ensure proper use of PPE by all employees.
• Maintain statutory records and compliance documentation.
• Monitor manufacturing costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Reduce material wastage and improve yield.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing and productivity improvement initiatives.
• Responsible for preparation of MIS reports and production performance reports for management.
• Ensure finished products are dispatched as per project schedules.
• Handle project execution and installation teams.
• Monitor delivery timelines and customer commitments.
