Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Assistant Branch Manager to support the Branch Manager in managing sales, customer acquisition, team performance, and business development. The candidate will be responsible for achieving branch targets and developing a productive sales team across insurance and financial products.

• Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the Branch Manager in achieving monthly and annual business targets.
• Recruit, train, guide and motivate sales executives/advisors.
• Generate new leads through field activities, references, seminars and local market activities.
• Drive sales of Life Insurance, Health Insurance, General Insurance, Mutual Funds/SIP and other financial products as per applicable regulations and company empanelments.
• Monitor daily sales activities, calls, meetings, leads and conversions.
• Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and business partners.
• Ensure proper documentation, KYC and compliance requirements.
• Support the Branch Manager in planning branch-level sales campaigns.
• Track individual and team KPIs and take corrective action where required.
• Develop business opportunities in assigned territory.
• Maintain regular MIS and submit sales reports to management.
• Candidate ProfileGraduate in any discipline.
• 1–5 years of experience in insurance, banking, mutual funds, financial services or direct sales preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a small sales team.
• Strong sales and relationship-management skills.
• Comfortable with field work and customer meetings.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office/CRM.
