Design Engineer

Job Title: CAD & CNC Production Technician

We are looking for a technically skilled and hands-on CAD & CNC Production Technician to join our manufacturing team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and modify 2D drawings using AutoCAD.

- Create and modify basic 3D models using SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Inventor, or similar software.

- Prepare DXF/DWG and other production files as required.

- Maintain production records, measurements and reports using Microsoft Excel.

- Operate CNC machines and assist with basic machine setting and production activities.

- Read and understand engineering drawings, dimensions and tolerances.

- Perform basic quality inspection using Vernier calipers, micrometers and other measuring instruments.

- Check finished components against drawings and required dimensions.

- Coordinate with production to identify and resolve drawing or manufacturing issues.

- Maintain proper records of production and inspection data.

- Follow company safety and quality procedures.

Required Skills:

- Good working knowledge of AutoCAD.

- Basic to good knowledge of 3D CAD modeling.

- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

- Basic knowledge of CNC machine operation.

- Basic understanding of inspection and measurement tools.

- Ability to read engineering drawings.

- Practical, hands-on approach to manufacturing work.

- Willingness to learn new machines and production processes.

Preferred Qualification:

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Tool & Die, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.

Experience:

1–3 years of relevant experience preferred. Freshers with strong practical skills may also be considered.

Additional Advantage:

Experience in sheet-metal work, laser cutting, chemical etching, fabrication, CNC machining or similar manufacturing processes will be an advantage.

Candidate Profile:

We are looking for someone who is hands-on, technically curious, responsible and willing to work across CAD, production, CNC and inspection activities rather than someone limited to office-based drafting.
