Job Title: Laser Cutting Machine Operator

Job Summary:

Responsible for operating and monitoring laser cutting machines to produce accurate, high-quality components

according to engineering drawings, specifications, and production requirements.

Key Responsibilities

 Operate CNC laser cutting machines safely and efficiently.

 Read and understand engineering drawings, cutting layouts, and job specifications.

 Load and unload metal sheets and components onto the machine.

 Set machine parameters such as laser power, cutting speed, gas pressure, and focus.

 Check material type, thickness, and dimensions before cutting.

 Monitor the cutting process and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality.

 Inspect finished parts using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

 Identify and report cutting defects, machine abnormalities, or quality issues.

 Perform routine machine cleaning, lubrication, and basic maintenance.

 Follow production schedules and achieve required output targets.

 Maintain proper records of production, material usage, and machine performance.

 Follow workplace safety procedures, PPE requirements, and 5S practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

 ITI/Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Fabrication, or a related field preferred.

 Experience operating CNC fiber laser cutting machines is an advantage.

 Ability to read engineering drawings.

 Basic knowledge of CNC machine operation

 Knowledge of materials such as MS, SS, aluminum, and other sheet metals.

 Good measurement and inspection skills.

 Basic computer knowledge.

 Ability to troubleshoot common machine and cutting problems.

 Willingness to work in shifts when required.

Experience

0–2 years: Suitable for trainee/junior operator roles.

2–3+ years: Experience with CNC laser cutting machines and production environments preferred.

Working Hours and facilities:

 9:00 AM to 6:30PM-Genaral Shift + OT

 7:00 AM to 3:00PM-First Shift

 3:00 AM to 11:00PM-Second Shift

 Accommodation will be provided for an employee.

 OT will be available and calculated based on company standard.
