Job Title: Accountant

Job Summary:

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities, financial records, payroll support, and statutory compliance. The candidate should have good knowledge of accounting principles and hands-on experience with accounting software and MS Excel.

Key Responsibilities:

* Maintain daily accounting entries, ledgers, invoices, receipts, and payment records.

* Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.

* Prepare and maintain bank, cash, purchase, and sales records.

* Perform bank reconciliation and monitor outstanding payments and receivables.

* Assist in monthly payroll processing and employee salary-related calculations.

* Support PF, ESI, Professional Tax, TDS and other statutory compliance activities.

* Prepare GST-related records and assist with GST filing and reconciliation.

* Maintain proper documentation of financial transactions and supporting documents.

* Prepare monthly reports, expense statements and other MIS reports.

* Coordinate with vendors, clients, auditors and internal departments regarding accounts-related matters.

* Ensure accuracy of financial records and timely completion of accounting activities.

* Perform any other accounting and finance-related duties assigned by management.

Required Skills:

* Good knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.

* Proficiency in MS Excel.

* Knowledge of Tally/ERP or other accounting software.

* Basic knowledge of GST, TDS, PF, ESI and Professional Tax.

* Good numerical and analytical skills.

* Attention to detail and accuracy.

* Good communication and organizational skills.

Qualification:

B.Com / M.Com / BBA (Finance) or relevant accounting qualification.

Experience:

2–5years of experience in Accounting/Finance.
