CCTV Technician

Job Title: CCTV TechnicianJob Summary:We are seeking a skilled CCTV Technician to install, maintain, and repair security camera systems for residential, commercial, and industrial properties. The ideal candidate should have experience with various surveillance technologies, wiring, and troubleshooting, as well as strong problem-solving skills.

• Key Responsibilities:Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems, IP cameras, DVRs, NVRs, and related security equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair faulty cameras, wiring, power supplies, and network connections.
• Perform regular maintenance checks and system upgrades.
• Ensure proper wiring, power supply, and network connectivity for CCTV systems.
• Conduct site surveys to determine the best locations for camera placement.
• Collaborate with clients and security teams to understand security requirements.
• Ensure compliance with safety and security regulations.
• Provide technical support and training to clients on system operation.
• Maintain detailed records of installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks.
• Qualifications & Skills:Proven experience as a CCTV Technician, Security Systems Technician, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of CCTV installation, networking, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with IP and analog camera systems.
• Ability to work with low-voltage wiring, routers, and network infrastructure.
• Understanding of electrical circuits and power management.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Education & Experience:High school diploma or equivalent (Technical certification is a plus).
• Certification in CCTV installation, networking, or electronics is preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Physical Requirements:Ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work at heights.
• Comfortable working in various environments, including outdoors and confined spaces.
