Role SummaryThe CNC / Bending Machine Operator will set up and operate sheet metal bending equipment to produce components according to engineering drawings, process instructions, quality standards, and production schedules.

Key Roles & Responsibilities·        Operate CNC or conventional bending equipment as applicable to the plant.

·        Set up tools, dies, and workpieces according to job requirements and machine instructions.

·        Read engineering drawings and follow specified dimensions, bend angles, and tolerances.

·        Inspect finished components using suitable measuring instruments and report deviations.

·        Maintain production records and inform supervisors of defects, downtime, or machine issues.

·        Perform routine machine checks and follow lockout, guarding, and other applicable safety procedures.

·        Minimize material wastage and support daily production targets.

·        Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Required Qualifications & Skills·        ITI Fitter or relevant technical qualification preferred.

·        3–4 years of experience operating bending or sheet metal machinery.

·        Ability to interpret engineering drawings and use measuring instruments.

·        Knowledge of machine setup, tooling, basic troubleshooting, and safety.
