Job Description
- Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise daily mess, cafeteria, banquet, and food service operations
- Ensure proper food service as per menu and schedule
- Handle service staff duty allocation and shift management
- Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation during service
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and grooming standards of staff
- Coordinate with kitchen team for smooth food dispatch and replenishment
- Handle customer complaints and resolve service-related issues professionally
- Ensure proper setup of buffet counters, dining halls, and banquet areas
- Maintain attendance, service records, and daily operational reports
- Train and guide service staff on SOPs, grooming, and customer interaction
- Ensure compliance with food safety and company standards
- Support special events, VIP visits, and college functions
- Required SkillsGood communication and leadership skills
- Basic computer knowledge (Excel, WhatsApp reporting, emails)
- Team handling capability
- Problem-solving and customer handling skills
- Knowledge of buffet setup and banquet service preferred
- Ability to work in rotational shifts
