Project Manager

Job SummaryThe Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, and successfully delivering elevator and escalator installation and modernization projects within the agreed scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards. The role requires close coordination with customers, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure safe and efficient project execution while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

• Key ResponsibilitiesManage end-to-end elevator and escalator installation and modernization projects.
• Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with sales, engineering, procurement, logistics, installation, and service teams.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion.
• Conduct regular site visits to review work quality, safety, and progress.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, company standards, and safety requirements.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans.
• Manage project costs and maintain profitability.
• Review technical drawings, specifications, and installation requirements.
• Coordinate material deliveries and subcontractor activities.
• Lead project review meetings and provide progress reports to management.
• Resolve customer issues and maintain strong client relationships.
• Manage project documentation, variation orders, invoices, and handover documents.
• Ensure successful commissioning, testing, inspection, and project handover.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery performance.
• Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Project Management certification (PMP or PRINCE2) is preferred.
• Knowledge of elevator and escalator systems, installation practices, and safety standards.
• Experience5–10 years of experience in the elevator and escalator industry.
• Minimum 3 years of project management experience.
• Experience handling high-rise residential, commercial, hospital, metro, or industrial projects is preferred.
• Technical SkillsProject planning and scheduling.
• Cost estimation and budget control.
• Contract and stakeholder management.
• Risk management.
• Reading engineering drawings.
• Quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC).
• Safety management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Microsoft Excel, and ERP systems.
• Knowledge of elevator installation, testing, commissioning, and modernization processes.
