Captain – Restaurant

Position: Restaurant Captain

Experience: 2–5+ years in a restaurant/hospitality environment

Employment Type: Full-time

* Supervise and coordinate the restaurant service team during operations.

* Welcome guests, assist with seating, and ensure a warm and professional guest experience.

* Take food and beverage orders accurately and ensure timely service.

* Have good knowledge of the menu, ingredients, preparation methods, and beverage offerings.

* Coordinate effectively with the kitchen, bar, and stewarding teams.

* Handle guest requests, feedback, and complaints professionally.

* Monitor table setup, cleanliness, service standards, and restaurant presentation.

* Train and guide stewards and junior service staff.

* Ensure proper billing and payment procedures are followed.

* Maintain high standards of hygiene, grooming, discipline, and hospitality.

* Assist the Restaurant Manager with daily operations and staff coordination.

* Monitor table turnover and ensure efficient service during peak hours.

Candidate Requirements:

* 2–5+ years of relevant restaurant/hotel experience.

* Good communication and guest-handling skills.

* Strong knowledge of food & beverage service.

* Ability to lead and motivate a service team.

* Pleasant personality with a customer-focused attitude.

* Good grooming and professional appearance.

* Ability to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays.

* Knowledge of POS systems will be an advantage.

🍴 Steward – Restaurant

Position: Restaurant Steward / Service Staff

Experience: 0–3+ years in restaurant/hotel service

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description:

* Welcome and assist guests in a polite and professional manner.

* Take food and beverage orders and communicate them accurately to the kitchen/bar.

* Serve food and beverages according to restaurant standards.

* Maintain cleanliness and proper setup of tables and dining areas.

* Clear and reset tables efficiently.

* Assist Captains and Restaurant Managers during busy service periods.

* Ensure guests have everything required for a comfortable dining experience.

* Handle crockery, cutlery, glassware, and service equipment carefully.

* Follow restaurant hygiene, food safety, and grooming standards.

* Assist with opening and closing duties.

* Maintain cleanliness of the service area and restaurant.

* Handle guest requests promptly and escalate complaints to the Captain/Manager when required.

Candidate Requirements:

* Previous restaurant/hotel experience preferred but freshers can also apply.

* Good communication and basic customer-service skills.

* Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

* Well-groomed and presentable.

* Team player with good discipline.

* Ability to work under pressure during busy hours.

* Flexible to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
