Key roles and responsibilities1. Shift Operations

• Open or close the restaurant according to procedures.
• Ensure all daily operations run smoothly.

3. Customer Service

• Ensure customers receive friendly and quick service.
• Handle customer complaints professionally.
• Resolve order mistakes and service-related issues.

4. Food Safety and Quality

• Ensure sandwiches and other products meet quality standards.
• Monitor food temperature, freshness, and expiry dates.
• Follow hygiene, sanitation, and food safety procedures.
• Ensure correct food storage and FIFO (First In, First Out).

5. Inventory Management

• Check ingredient and packaging stock.
• Monitor wastage and portion control.
• Report low stock and assist with ordering.
• Ensure proper stock rotation.

6. Cash and Sales Management

• Handle cash registers and POS transactions.
• Verify cash balances at the beginning and end of shifts.
• Monitor sales performance and support sales targets.
• Follow procedures for discounts, refunds, and cash deposits.

7. Cleanliness and Maintenance

• Ensure the dining area, kitchen, and food preparation counters remain clean.
• Check cleaning schedules and sanitation records.
• Report equipment problems and maintenance requirements.

• Complete shift reports and required checklists.
• Record wastage, stock issues, and operational incidents.
