Job Description

  • 1. Sandwich Artist / Food Preparation Team MemberGreet customers and take their orders.
  • Prepare sandwiches, wraps, salads, and other menu items according to customer preferences.
  • Follow standard recipes and portion-control guidelines.
  • Maintain the freshness and quality of ingredients.
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and handwashing procedures.
  • Keep the food preparation counter clean and organized.
  • 2. Cashier / Customer Service Team MemberWelcome customers with a friendly attitude.
  • Enter customer orders accurately into the POS system.
  • Handle cash, card, and digital payments.
  • Issue receipts and manage billing accurately.
  • Inform customers about menu items, promotions, and meal deals.
  • Handle customer complaints politely and escalate issues when necessary.
  • 3. Food Preparation and Stock ManagementRefill vegetables, sauces, bread, cheese, and other ingredients.
  • Check product freshness, expiry dates, and food labels.
  • Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) stock rotation.
  • Store ingredients at the correct temperatures.
  • Inform the shift supervisor about low stock or damaged products.
  • Minimize food waste by following portion-control standards.
  • 4. Cleaning and Hygiene ResponsibilitiesClean and sanitize food preparation surfaces and equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, counters, and kitchen.
  • Clean floors, utensils, and food storage areas as required.
  • Follow proper waste disposal procedures.
  • Maintain personal hygiene and wear the required uniform.
  • Follow food safety and pest-prevention procedures.
  • 5. Teamwork and Daily OperationsWork efficiently with other team members during busy periods.
  • Follow instructions from the shift supervisor or restaurant manager.
  • Support opening, closing, and shift handover activities.
  • Complete assigned cleaning and preparation checklists.
  • Maintain punctuality, discipline, and professional behavior.
  • Help achieve customer satisfaction and restaurant performance targets.
