Social Media Intern

MITRA | Auronix Horizon Pvt. Ltd. | Bengaluru

MITRA is a Bengaluru-based healthcare startup building a modern home healthcare and health-information platform. We are looking for a confident, creative and social-media-obsessed intern who can become a regular on-camera face for MITRA’s Instagram content.

This is not a back-office social media internship. You will work closely with the founding team and learn how content is built from idea to execution — including research, ideation, hooks, scripting, presenting, storytelling, Instagram strategy and performance analysis.

What you’ll do:

• Feature on camera in MITRA’s Reels and short-form videos regularly.
• Brainstorm original Reel concepts, series, challenges, street content, interviews, experiments and educational formats.
• Research trending topics, creators, formats and conversations on Instagram.
• Write Reel hooks, scripts, captions and content concepts.
• Participate in shoots across Bengaluru.
• Conduct street interviews and interact with people when the format requires it.
• Help plan the social media content calendar and contribute ideas for growing the page.
• Study Reel performance, retention and engagement to understand what works.
• Pitch and develop your own content series with guidance from the MITRA team.

Video editing is not required — the MITRA team will handle editing and final production.

Who should apply

You should be very comfortable in front of the camera. Being camera-shy is not suitable for this role, as presenting and appearing in videos is a core part of the internship.

We are looking for someone who is expressive, curious, confident, creative, comfortable speaking to new people and genuinely interested in Instagram/Reels culture. You do not need previous professional experience or a healthcare background.

Students from any academic background can apply. Experience with theatre, hosting, public speaking, college events, Instagram, YouTube or creating your own content is a bonus.

You must be based in Bengaluru and available for in-person shoots.

What you’ll gain

You’ll get hands-on experience in content strategy, scriptwriting, presenting, audience psychology, storytelling, social media growth and brand building, while working directly with an early-stage startup team. You’ll also build a portfolio of published content featuring you as a creator/presenter.

Stipend: ₹10,000–₹12,000 per month + approved shoot travel reimbursement
